Do I need to apply hyaluronic serum on damp skin?
For best results, we recommend applying the hyaluronic acid on slightly damp skin. This gives the hyaluronic acid water to bind to, meaning it doesn't have to pull it from within the skin. The most important step after serum application is to apply a good moisturiser which has good emollients to ensure no transepidermal water loss. We recommend using our Peptide Calm barrier balm which is rich in fatty acids and ceramides.
Why/how it has that really sticky texture?
The thicker / stickier consistency is due to hyaluronic acid which has thickening properties. Due to the high percentage of hyaluronic acid used in our serum, this results in a thin gel like consistency.
