4 Tips For Using Our ‘Espresso Yourself’ Palette

Have you heard the great news? We launched our very first eyeshadow palette, ‘Espresso Yourself’. Espresso Yourself comes equipped with 21 highly pigmented and vibrant shadows in matte and shimmer finishes to help you put together any look. We can’t wait to see what looks you come up with!
To help you get the most from our palette, we’ve put together 4 helpful tips for applying the Espresso Yourself shadows which features the most delicious names, ever! You just can’t resist that ‘Caramel Latte’, ‘Espresso’, ‘Cinnamon Cream’ and ‘Pumpkin Spiced’.

Start With A Clean Base

Like any other makeup application, it's all about the base! Start with clean lids, free from oil and makeup for a flawless base.

Prime Those Lids

Ever had the most amazing palette ever, but the shadows begin to crease or fade throughout the day? Well, it's time to prime those lids. There are tons of eyeshadow primers on the market, but a concealer that matches your skin tone (preferably one with a thicker consistency as opposed to runny) works just as fine. Just be sure to set it with a translucent powder or our 'Flat White' shadow from our Espresso Yourself palette. You'll have a smooth, crease-proof base which allows the color of your shadows to pop!

Choose The Right Brushes

We can't stress enough the importance of having the right tools for any makeup look. Invest in quality, synthetic eye makeup brushes that will take blending your shadows above and beyond. Our Flat Shader Brush, Pencil Brush, and Blending Brush are three must-have eyeshadow brushes that are high quality AND inexpensive.

Use our Flat Shader Brush to easily pack on product onto your eyelids, our Pencil Brush to apply product to the lower lash line or inner corners of the eye, and our Blending Brush to blend, blend, and blend some more to soften any harsh lines, and make the transition from one color to a next much smoother.

1, 2, 3, Apply!

For a transition shade, use a medium-dark color such as 'Mocha' just above the lid to define the crease. Add a touch of shimmer with 'Vanilla Latte' or a lighter color like 'Gingerbread' and pat onto the centre of the eyelids to make your eyes pop. Then, use a darker shade such as 'Double Choc Chip' on the outer V of your eyes for a simple, easy, eye look using the Espresso Yourself palette. Be sure to blend everything together for a seamless look.
